Mark D. Rogers Jr, CISSP, GCIA, CNSP, B.Sc.

Mark, B.Sc., is a veteran, college graduate, and certified professional with over a decade of experience in numerous disciplines of Information Technology. His skillset focuses on Cybersecurity, with an emphasis on Blue Team, SOC Operations, and SOC Engineering/Architecture, but also includes Programming, Networking, Systems Administration, and IT team Management.

Mark has worked for various employers and clients in multiple fields, including Fortune 500 cyber defense firms, the intelligence community, the defense industry, telecommunications, national security, multiple civilian federal agencies, financial organizations, retail consumer electronics, and live content delivery platforms. Additionally, he served six years in the Army National Guard managing data systems for Field Artillery. Furthermore, he is a member of the GIAC Advisory Board, the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).

Academically, Mark is currently studying for his Master of Science in Cybersecurity while holding a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Maryville University and maintains the (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Automation Engineer (PCSAE), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+), PenTest+, Security+, Network+, and A+ certifications. In addition, he is also a designated CompTIA Network Security Professional (CNSP), Security Analytics Professional (CSAP), Network Vulnerability Assessment Professional (CNVP), IT Operations Specialist (CIOS), and Secure Infrastructure Specialist (CSIS).
